Join Ride Krew for Weekly Trail Rides exploring the diverse trail systems of Thousand Oaks!  This is a great opportunity to enjoy peer-based rides, and foster a lifelong love for outdoor adventure, health, and wellness.

This program is designed for riders ages 8+ who have a geared mountain bike with 24” or larger wheels. Bikes should be recently serviced and in good working condition. Riders should be comfortable with off-road terrain, as the routes include rolling hills and varied surfaces. Some prior trail experience is recommended.

This Ride Krew Trail Rides program offers 6 weekly rides:

Six consecutive Sundays: 7/20, 7/27, 8/3, 8/17, 8/24, 8/31 (*No class on 8/10)

  • Rolling at 5:00pm, returning by 7:00pm
  • First meetup location: Rancho Potrero Trailhead
  • All other meetup locations coming soon!

To ensure a safe and fun experience, please come prepared with:
✔ A geared mountain bike (24”+ wheels) – recently serviced, with brakes, chain, and tire pressure checked.
✔ A properly fitted helmet – snug and secure.
✔ Closed-toe sneakers and athletic clothing suitable for riding and the weather.
✔ Water bottle and light snack – well-fed and hydrated riders have the most fun!

PARENTS: Ride Krew is for the whole family! A single subscription covers up to four riders from the same household. While we’d love for you to join us, parental participation is optional, and drop-off is supported.

  • Seven consecutive Fridays , 5pm-7pm – 5/2, 5/9, 5/16, 5/23, 5/30, 6/6, 6/13
  • One Saturday ride at Mt. Laguna, 9am – 6/21

To ensure a safe and fun experience, please come prepared with:

✔ A properly fitted helmet – snug and secure.
✔ Closed-toe sneakers and athletic clothing suitable for riding and the weather.

This program is designed for riders ages 8+ who have a geared mountain bike with 24” or larger wheels. Bikes should be recently serviced and in good working condition. Riders should be comfortable with off-road terrain, as the routes include rolling hills and varied surfaces. Some prior trail experience is recommended.

This Ride Krew Trail Rides program offers 6 rides:

Six Sundays: 6/22, 6/29, 7/13, 8/17, 8/24, 9/7  (No ride Labor Day Weekend)

  • Rolling at 9:00am, returning by 11:00am

To ensure a safe and fun experience, please come prepared with:

San Marcos ~ After School Program

The After School Program focuses on the essential skills needed to be a good mountain biker that includes: trail safety and stewardship, trail scanning, bike and body positioning, braking, gear shifting, turning and cornering, wheel lifts, proper climbing and descending, ratcheting and more!

This program is for kids 8+ years old that are comfortable riding a geared mountain bike on dirt trails and is limited to 8 participants each session. Parents you can drop off or hang out at your discretion. The event fee also includes a nifty swag bag with all sorts of riding gear and discounts!

Please come ready with a geared mountain bike that has 24″ or greater wheels,  is recently serviced and well working. Don’t forget to double check the chain, brakes and tire air pressure. Wear a properly fitted helmet (snug is important), closed toe sneakers and athletic clothing that is safe to ride in and weather appropriate. Well fed and hydrated riders tend to have the most fun! Please bring a water bottle and light snack.

Trail rides are incorporated into the 2nd half of the program leaving from the park into the nearby trail network.

This program starts with the basics and progresses to high level shredding that every bike loving kid needs! We guarantee you they will be ripping it up like no other, HIGH levels of FLOW and FUN to be had!

This program is designed for kids aged 8+ who are comfortable riding a geared mountain bike on dirt trails. With a small group size of just 8 participants per session, each rider receives personalized coaching. Parents, feel free to drop off or stay and watch—it’s up to you!

Each participant also receives a swag bag with riding gear and exclusive discounts!

What to Bring:
To ensure a great experience, please have your rider arrive with:

  • A recently serviced, geared mountain bike with 24″ or larger wheels. Rental bikes available at registration.
