Rider Level: 3 Sprockets
Carlsbad ~ Summer Camp (Intermediate Level)
Join us for an action-packed week of mountain biking at our Summer Camp Program!
Carlsbad ~ Monday, 8/3 – Friday, 8/7
This Monday–Friday adventure is designed for confident riders looking to progress their intermediate bike-handling skills and take their riding to the next level. Campers will build precision, control, and trail confidence through focused skill development, guided progression, and plenty of trail time—all in a fun, engaging Ride Krew environment.
Throughout the week, riders will refine core intermediate skills including advanced bike and body positioning, braking control, efficient gear use, technical turning and cornering, climbing technique, and controlled descending. Ride Krew coaches lead intentional, skill-based drills that emphasize progression, consistency, and confidence. As skills sharpen, riders will apply what they’ve learned on guided trail rides, exploring local trail networks and practicing real-world trail riding in a safe, supportive, and supervised setting.
Off the bike, campers will enjoy location-based activities that keep the energy high and the week well-rounded—such as ice-cream rides, water games, ranger meet-and-greets, animal interactions, beach visits, and more.
This program is open to riders ages 7 and up who can confidently ride a geared mountain bike with 20” wheels or larger and are ready for intermediate-level skill progression and trail riding.
