Vail Lake ~ Adventure Clinic

Sunday February 12, 2023 – $79

Bring your young riders out to explore the trail system at Temecula’s Vail Lake and Vailocity Bike Park! This is an intermediate to advanced Sprockids Adventure. Our guides will lead the adventure into Vail Lake exploring Vail Lakes vast fun and flowy trails to include stops to the numerous bike park features and pump tracks. Come out and learn with us as we expand upon your riders knowledge including pumping, cornering into berms, how to descend rocky technical trails, what trail speed is and why it is important.

Riders suitable for this adventure will have a FIRM UNDERSTANDING of bike-body balance techniques, steering and cornering as well as braking. They should overall be confident handling their bike on intermediate+ trails. Expect to ride 10-12 miles with 1,000 feet of elevation over the course of the day. We will be taking a lunch break mid day, please pack a hearty lunch and trail snacks.

This event is held within the gates of the Temecula/Vail Lake KOA. There is a day use fee, not included in our event fee, that is $10 for adults, $5 for kids. The fee is be paid at the security gate when entering the campground.

LOCATION: 38000 Hwy 79 South Temecula, CA 92592.

EVENT DATE: February 12^th, 2023

EVENT TIME: Event starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 1:00PM.

EQUIPMENT: A geared mountain bike that has a wheel size of 24″ or greater, is recently serviced and well working. Don’t forget to double check the chain, brakes and tire air pressure. Weather appropriate clothing and closed toed shoes, bike mounted water bottle or hydration pack, snack and a fun positive attitude!

Parents, you are encouraged to participate in our clinics and learn alongside your children! The same skills, equipment and bike requirements stated above apply for parents and you must also book a ticket.
