 SHREDFest is bringing all the action, excitement, and fun on bikes to Conejo Valley! Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to experience a thrilling morning of epic rides and bike challenges.

 SHREDFest is all about having fun on bikes! Join us and our sponsors for a lively morning riding the CLIF pump track, teeter totters and pyramids, bike jumping, obstacle courses as well as games such as limbo and the all time favorite, anarchy island! Riders will traverse through numerous stations during the event and gain exposure to a variety of bike skills.

This is an ALL AGES event, if your youngest is on a strider bike or still learning to ride please be ready to assist them through the course.

PARENTS: This is an event for you to ride alongside your young rider, please book a ticket for yourself if you want to join.

EQUIPMENT: Functional recently serviced bike (mountain bike specific not required) and a positive attitude!

Special Event ~ Qualcomm Family Ride

Sprockids is honored to have been chosen to receive a grant award during the Qualcomm SDGEC Event! We are looking forward to hosting this special family ride for the Qualcomm community and it’s families. Thank you for your support!

Join us with your young riders as we explore the local trail system! This is a beginner ride. Our guides will lead the adventure through Rancho Penasquitos Preserve exploring the area’s  fun and flowy single track!

Participants for this ride should be comfortable riding off-road on undulating terrain. A geared mountain bike with hand brakes is required. Expect to pedal 4-6 miles with slight elevation changes over the course of the ride. Family rides are open to riders ages 7+ with at least 24″ wheels.

This event is held at the Los Penasquitos Ranch House and the surrounding trail system.

PARENTS: This is an event for you to ride alongside your young shredder, please book a ticket for yourself as well.

EQUIPMENT: Geared mountain bike with hand brakes, weather appropriate clothing and closed toed shoes, bike mounted water bottle or hydration pack, snack and a fun positive attitude!

Spring Valley Gym ~ Fundamentals

Sprockids San Diego in partnership with the County of San Diego is offering a **FREE** Fundamentals clinic!!

The Fundamentals clinic teaches off-road skills and essential technique through drills, games, and fun activities.

Your rider will learn: bike safety and how to conduct an ABC bike check, importance of a properly fit helmet and a helmet check, about bike components and equipment, the three mountain bike essentials, what neutral and ready position are and how and when to use them, proper bike body positioning and separation, shifting gears and how to brake effectively. Skills are taught in a playful environment using our obstacles and playing games while on the bike!

This clinic is suitable for riders aged 7+ that are comfortable riding their bikes off-road.

Please come ready with a geared mountain bike that has a wheel size of 20″ or greater and is recently serviced and functional. Don’t forget to double check the chain, brakes and tire air pressure. Wear a properly fitted helmet (snug is important), closed toe sneakers and athletic clothing that is safe to ride in and weather appropriate. Well fed and hydrated riders tend to have the most fun! Please bring a bike mounted water bottle or hydration pack and a light snack.

Stoked – Airbag Advanced Clinic

Join Us our Stoked Advanced Skills Jump Clinic!

Get ready to launch! Our Open Jump sessions are all about building confidence, dialing in your technique, and having a blast as you progress to bigger takeoffs and bag landings — all in a safe, supportive environment.

Who Can Join:
Riders of all skill levels, ages 12 and up, are welcome. Parents — if you plan to ride, please register yourself as well. If you’re not riding, we ask that you remain on site to supervise, as this is not a drop-off event.

What to Bring:

  • A mountain, dirt jump, slopestyle, or BMX bike in good working condition (recently serviced)

  • A properly fitted helmet (secure and snug)

  • Closed-toe sneakers and weather-appropriate athletic wear

  • A water bottle and a light snack — staying hydrated and fueled keeps the fun going!

Riders are encouraged to progress at their own pace, whether you’re hitting your first jump or refining your style. Open Jump is your chance to push your limits and level up — all while having a ton of fun.

Stoked ~ Advanced Rider Summer Camp

Join us for an action-packed week of mountain biking at our Advanced Rider – Enduro Summer Camp Program in Rancho Penasquitos!

This Monday-to-Friday adventure is perfect for kids eager to learn the advanced bike handling skills and hit the trails with confidence. Along with biking, we’ve packed the week with exciting games and activities to keep your rider engaged and having a blast!

Throughout the week, campers will learn advanced bike skills, including jumping, high speed cornering, pumping, technical rock roll downs, steep descending and more! Our expert instructors will lead fun and interactive drills to help reinforce these skills. To top it off, we’ll head out on advanced trail rides at various progressive trail destinations giving riders a chance to put their new skills to practice in a safe, supervised setting.

The program is open to kids aged 12 and up who are comfortable riding enduro trails.

To ensure a great experience, your rider will need:

  • A mountain bike in good working condition with 130mm+ of travel.
  • A properly fitted full face helmet with goggles/eye protection, knee pads, gloves and riding shoes with a reinforced toe box.

  • A packed lunch, light snacks, and a water bottle to stay fueled and hydrated

Join us for an action-packed summer of Enduro trail rides!

This ride program is perfect for riders that are comfortable riding intermediate to advanced trails.

Riders will explore trail systems such as Teds, Black Mountain, Double Peak, PQ, La Costa and more!

The program is open to kids aged 12 and up who are comfortable riding intermediate to advanced trails.

Tustin ~ Fundamentals 1 Clinic

Our Fundamentals I Clinic is a fun, engaging way for young riders to develop essential off-road biking skills. Through structured drills, games, and exciting activities, riders will gain confidence and competence in essential biking techniques.  Skills are taught in a playful, supportive environment using fun obstacles and games to reinforce learning.

Your Rider Will Learn:

  • Bike Safety: Understanding bike safety checks, including the ABC (Air, Brakes, Chain) check.
  • Helmet Fit: Proper helmet fitting and safety checks.
  • Bike Components & Equipment: Familiarity with essential mountain bike components and equipment.
  • Core Skills: Mastering the three mountain bike essentials, neutral and ready positions, bike body positioning, and effective separation.
  • Gear Shifting & Braking: How to shift gears smoothly and brake effectively.

Who Can Join? This clinic is ideal for riders aged 7+ who feel comfortable riding their bikes off-road.
