Ride Krew SHREDFest at Foussat Elementary

Get Ready for SHREDFest at Foussat Elementary!
Saturday, April 18th, 9:30am – 12:00pm | FREE Admission

Ride Krew, in partnership with OUSD, is bringing the stoke to Oceanside with a high-energy morning focused on bike safety, skill-building, and confidence on two wheels. SHREDFest is all about helping riders of all ages learn to ride smart, ride safe, and have a blast doing it.

Through fun, hands-on stations, riders will build safe habits by practicing the rules of the road—signaling, traffic awareness, and riding predictably around others—while developing essential bike-handling skills like balance, braking, and turning. Along the way, they’ll also learn key rider and equipment safety basics, including proper helmet fit and bike checks, giving them the confidence to ride their neighborhoods safely and responsibly.

This event is open to students of all ages and abilities. If your youngest rider is on a strider bike or still learning to ride, please plan to assist them through the course.

Equipment Needed:
✔️ A functional, recently serviced bike (mountain bike not required)
✔️ A helmet
✔️ A positive attitude!

Questions? Please email carmen@theridekrew.com.
